Jeremy Howlett

Husband, Father, Christian, Teacher, Leader, Writer, Photographer, Traveler, Adventurer, Entrepreneur, and Strategist

I am a husband, the father of four wonderful children, a follower of my Savior Jesus Christ, an entrepreneur, writer, scholar, and adventurer. With my family, I enjoy traveling, serving, learning, and most importantly, being together. Together, we have been to forty-eight of the United States, three Canadian Provinces, and several different US National Parks and Monuments. You can catch a glimpse of these adventures on our Family’s Instagram Page. Adventure on!

I have years of experience in strategy through financial consulting, web development, and marketing. In the summer of 2009, my business direction took a little bit of a change when I approached my cousin, Golden Harper, for a new pair of running shoes. Together, with Brian Beckstead, we founded Altra and successfully grew it to become a global brand that was acquired by VF Corp. Since leaving Altra in 2016, I have ventured off on my own to pursue photography, digital marketing, study of philosophytravel, and currently engaged in another startup provided education and marketing automation services through marketingSOLVD.

I was honored to be a part of the inaugural Master of Business Creation at the University of Utah’s David Eccles School of Business while working as a partner with Cinch, a SAAS business in marketing automation.

“Wise hope and wise action ask that you accept and see a situation clearly for what it is, and then, with the hopeful attitude necessary, say, Well, this is what is happening now, so I will focus on what I can control, try not to obsess over what I can’t, and do the...

A Year of Book of Mormon Study

As we dive back into the Book of Mormon this year let us take a look at what I would consider Nephi’s thesis statement of the Book of Mormon. *But behold, I, Nephi, will show unto you that the tender mercies of the Lord are over all those whom he hath chosen, because...
