Life has been very hectic over the past 6 weeks. We have been ramping up he Altra exposure at ultra race events and pushing out our social community running information platform #RunTalks. This, along with typical marathon October has kept me traveling a lot lately. I enjoy traveling for the ability to see and explore new and great areas around the United States, but it is very difficult to be away from my family this much.
This past couple of weeks has been a great adventure. I had the opportunity to run in some glorious locations. I have run overlooking the Golden Gate Bridge and the California Bay, up over 11,000 feet in the local Wasatch Mountains, through the northwest forests in Forest Park and through the dense East Coast forests of the Carolina’s. I have enjoyed group runs with some great individuals and some nice peaceful runs of solitude. It has been great traveling coast to coast to soak up some great runs around the country and to meet some exceptional people. I look forward to what the remainder of the year has in store, but most importantly look forward to time with my amazing wife and kids!!
