If you want to catch fish you can almost never go wrong with the traditional woolly bugger pattern. This is one of the easiest patterns to tie. Here is a way to tie a little better woolly bugger pattern to find success in fishing it. I like to add some flashabou to the tail to give it some additional sparkle and attraction in the water. Also, I prefer to use lead wire underneath the chenille to weight it down and will even use a cone or bead for a heavier fly.
Go crank some out and catch the big fish!
