A Drive Through Yellowstone National Park

by Jun 7, 2019Adventures, Family, National Parks, Travel0 comments

On our return trip home from Theodore Roosevelt National Park, we drove through the northern section of Yellowstone National Park. It was fun to drive along the road to the northeastern entrance. We drove through some tall walls of snow through the higher elevation passes, after driving up switchbacks along a cliffside in the dark. That was exhilarating.

In Yellowstone National Park, we made a few key stops after seeing a grizzly, moose, and bison. It was fun to see the calves while still small. We stopped by the falls and Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone. On the way out, we hiked around some of the hot pots, hung out with a few bull elk, and soaked in more scenery. We then drove out along the lake and saw some of the smaller falls along the road towards the south entrance.
