This time of year is such a great time. A wonderful ski season has wrapped up and the trails are drying out. The snow is melting off of the jagged peaks and they are starting to call. I am really excited to start running peaks again. It’s now that I can get up some canyons and along trails that are socked in with snow most of the winter. I don’t need snow shoes and I can open up and enjoy the trails. Water is flowing in abundance and the scenery around is getting green.

Each change of the season is held with anticipation and spring is probably the greatest. It’s a symbol of new life. The weather warms up and the days get longer. I’m stoked to keep cranking up the miles and enjoy some great adventures this year. Spring is when my training kicks up and I get into peak shape (pun intended).

Hope to see you out on the trails!
